It doesnt make much business sense to confuse the market with a PS4 Pro and a PS4 Slim while attempting to market PS5. In addition, it seems like it would stretch devs unnecessarily, making a SKU for 3 different machines as opposed to two. If i was Sony, i'd sunset PS4 Pro production early next year and let the sales run out.
All these threads make it seem the the PS5 is releasing in a couple of months. We’re still so far off from the PS5 actually being on store shelves.

It's typically $300 to $400 CAD. And the PS5 is only $100 more and delivers a far better experience. I'd say save your money and get the new and future proofed machine. Production of the PSP ended in 2014 and the last UMD's were produced in 2016. I highly doubt they'll announce the end production of the PS4 before the PS5 is even out.
